Information Advice and Guidance

Kirkbride Learning Centre has been awarded the Matrix Standard, the nationally recognised quality mark for organisations which provide information, advice and guidance.

Gaining the Matrix Standard was no mean feat for the Centre and means the information advice and guidance (IAG) services which we provide to our learners meet the highest standards.

Kirkbride Learning Centre provides Further Education, as well as community and business programmes. The Centre has a wide rural catchment area and recruits learners of all ages and from all walks of life, due in part to the breadth of the courses which it offers.

Our support for learners has been judged as being consistently high and the Centre has a strong history of having significant quality systems in place, which have been proved time and time again. To put this in context, Kirkbride Learning Centre was one of the first learning organisations in Cumbria to be awarded the Matrix Standard and continually strives to improve on its learner service provision.
